We are two friends, artist Emma McClure and interior decorator Catherine Cumming, who have set up a new design studio called Epping Smith. We’ve just launched our first range of hand printed fabric as a collection of pillows and cushions.

 

Emma designs and hand prints the fabric in our studio in Cornwall, and Catherine then cuts the fabric in London to make our finished products.

Inspired by Cornwall, our decorative, hand printed products celebrate the joy of simple pattern and colour as well as the intrinsic beauty of the handmade.

 

We print by hand using silk screen frames onto unbleached cotton/linen fabric, and we use inks that are water based and environmentally friendly. As we print short runs of fabric, we also offer a bespoke service to print any of our designs in the colours of your choice, and to make cushions to any size you require.
